Official opening for Lotus Racing factory
The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir, conducted the official opening of Lotus Racing’s UK factory in Hingham on Monday. Mahathir was joined at the ceremony by Lotus team principal Tony Fernandes, deputy team principals Kamarudin Meranun and SM Nasarudin and chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne.

Lotus’ Hingham factory in Norfolk was officially opened on Monday as Tun Dr. Mahathir, a former Prime Minister of Malaysia, visited the 1Malaysia team in Norfolk. The ceremony came following the rookie team’s maiden test session in Jerez last week.
