Formula 1 commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone has stressed that, as teams suggest several regulation changes following a generally processional season-opening on Sunday, the competititors must never be placed in a position to modify rules themselves.

Due to regulation changes, new World Champion Jenson Button believes that the size of his Brawn team will be a benefit in 2010. Also on Monday, the British media is reporting that the Englishman is now searching for an increase in salary size heading into his season of title defence.
