Virgin Racing’s Nick Wirth believes that the team are now significantly closer to fellow 2010 debutants Lotus following a significant upgrade for Silverstone. With the Sheffield-based outfit now closer to their main rivals, the Technical Director predicts a far closer second half to the season.

Lucas di Grassi was thrilled to have driven the brand-new Virgin Racing car on-track for the first time at Silverstone on Friday.
