Having developed its car only with computer technology as opposed to the use of a wind tunnel, the Virgin Racing team was delighted to see that readings in Jerez on Thursday continued to match those predicted with CFD (Computation Fluid Dynamics) back at base in the United Kingdom.

Prodrive Chairman David Richards believes that the motorsport industry should review its methods of developing technology and the effects generated for transport in general.
